The Systems Analyst role requires a BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience, robust critical thinking skills, and a desire for growth and learning. The individual will engage with peers in technical and design discussions, communicate technical needs to non-technical stakeholders, and produce scalable, maintainable solutions. This role also involves providing guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring other Systems Analysts. The position requires extensive experience in financial services applications and collaboration in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features. A strong understanding of Agile software development methodology, excellent communication skills for interviewing business partners and documenting requirements, and strong analytical skills for researching and documenting systems are essential. The ability to diagram business processes, convey technical concepts, and participate in project scope definition is also crucial. The role demands a willingness to understand WS Digital Platforms’ web and mobile applications, communicate technical concepts effectively, learn quickly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Strong support for Quality Assurance and Business partners throughout testing phases, including defect triaging, is expected. Extensive knowledge of internet, mobile, and application architecture, current and emerging technologies, and the full software development process is required. Experience with formal methods (structured or Agile/iterative) for delivering applications, identifying processes, and generating requirement documentation is necessary. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups, navigate the organization effectively, and manage multiple efforts simultaneously is key. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to organization, responsiveness, and quality, are also important.
