About The Position

Lafayette Federal Credit Union is seeking a Systems Analyst, Infrastructure to join their Information Technology – Infrastructure team. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for administering all software applications used by the Credit Union, including analysis, design, reporting, implementation, and maintenance as it pertains to departmental operations and activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
  • Experience administering a virtual server environment.
  • Experience diagnosing, researching, and resolving technical system emergencies.
  • Experience liaising with vendor representatives for problem resolution.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components for IT systems (servers and workstations).
  • Understanding of and experience with updating, patching, and software releases for Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022).
  • Experience monitoring backup performance and resolving backup process issues.
  • Experience creating, modifying, and maintaining procedures for system processes.
  • Experience communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to management.
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Experience maintaining an accurate list of network devices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as administrator for the virtual server environment.
  • Diagnose, research, and resolve technical system emergencies in conjunction with the VP of IT Infrastructure.
  • Liaise with vendor representatives to resolve application problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components for IT systems, including servers and workstations.
  • Coordinate required updates, patches, and software releases for all Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022).
  • Monitor backup performance to ensure data integrity and test/resolve any issues with backup processes.
  • Create, modify, and maintain procedures applicable to system processes.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to management.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of all devices within the network.
