About The Position

This is a Temp-to-Hire position for a Systems Administrator, estimated to last 6 months with a possible conversion to direct hire. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Tampa, FL. This is a non-negotiable requirement, and candidates must be able to relocate as required. The position involves administering and maintaining Linux (Red Hat) environments, managing enterprise storage infrastructure, and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX environments. The role also includes collaborating with IT teams, monitoring system health, responding to incidents, and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tampa, FL
• Systems Administrator Experience (10+ years)
• Experience with Linux administration, including Red Hat, containerization, and DevOps practices (10+ years)
• Experience with enterprise storage administration for mid-size or larger organizations
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 or VMware 8 minimum
• Experience with NSX (VMware network virtualization)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NetApp enterprise storage
• Experience with Zscaler

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux (Red Hat) environments including containerization platforms and DevOps pipelines
• Manage and support enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and capacity planning
• Administer VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX environments, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Support virtualized network infrastructure and ensure secure, high-availability operations across the environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on system integrations, upgrades, and technology refreshes
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis to resolve infrastructure issues
• Maintain documentation for systems configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
