About The Position
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Authority's server, network, and storage infrastructures.
Requirements
- Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server 2016+
- Experience managing, troubleshooting, and administering VMware 8.0+
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of the principles of cybersecurity, vulnerabilities, and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
- Ability to quickly self-educate with new products
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid Class C Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Operator's Driver's License throughout employment
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
- Technical familiarity with Fortinet suite (ForitGate, FortiEDR, FortiEMS)
- Technical familiarity with Dell VxRail servers and storage
- Technical familiarity with Office 365
- Technical familiarity with VOIP systems
Responsibilities
- Analyze server, storage, and network performance and recommend improvements
- Resolve complex system issues for infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and field devices
- Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups and updates
- Perform server and workstation system set-up and security updates
- Delivery of new servers and storage and configure new network equipment to include switches, routers, printers, etc.
- Manage the detection, response, mitigation, and reporting of vulnerabilities within the environment
- Assist IT support to meet service level agreements
