The Information Technology Department provides robust, reliable, and innovative technology services across the organization. The department supports operational efficiency and employee productivity by delivering high-quality information technology services and innovative solutions. System Administrators provide technical leadership, project management, and administration of departmental and citywide information systems, supporting both short- and long-term technology plans. The position implements, configures, maintains, and supports multi-tier, server-based hardware, applications, and software systems and is fully trained in procedures related to assigned areas of responsibility. System Administrators serve as an escalation point beyond Tier I/Help Desk support, troubleshooting complex technical issues through to resolution, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering user training. This is a Full-Time, AFSCME represented position working Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week, with a 12-month probationary period. The position is open until filled.
