About The Position

Leidos is searching for a highly skilled and driven System Administrator to take on a mission-critical role at Hill AFB Air Force Base. As a System Administrator, you will be overseeing JWICS operations across Wing and subordinate unit SCIFs. You’ll ensure seamless Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) operations, performing vital touch maintenance to install, configure, and sustain essential systems. Whether managing network storage, user privileges, local authentication servers, or spearheading contingency planning, your expertise will fortify mission success at every turn.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required to start).
  • Security+ certification.
  • Bachelor's and 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years with a Master’s degree). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Deep knowledge of JWICS operations, Active Directory management, trouble ticketing tools, and security controls.
  • A proactive mindset.

  • Experience with RMF & Xacta.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing JWICS operations across Wing and subordinate unit SCIFs.
  • Ensuring seamless Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) operations.
  • Performing vital touch maintenance to install, configure, and sustain essential systems.
  • Managing network storage, user privileges, and local authentication servers.
  • Spearheading contingency planning.
  • Solving real-world cybersecurity challenges by investigating malware, spyware, Trojans, and unauthorized software threats.
  • Acting as the bridge between site users and Air Force cybersecurity teams, resolving network issues.
  • Managing the security landscape by pushing patches, overseeing system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with critical security protocols.
  • Advising on technical documentation, assisting government agencies in creating SSO documents, reports, and operational briefings.
  • Safeguarding sensitive data with advanced SCI security support functions while maintaining access to classified JWICS systems.
