About The Position

The Systems Administrator II (“Administrator”) is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Information Technology (“Division”) Division. The Administrator administers the computer, network, and phone infrastructure supporting all staff at multiple locations and in the community. The Administrator cooperates with vendors and service providers while supporting multiple systems including but not limited to, Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Citrix, anti-virus, updates, and backups. Additionally, the Administrator will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Director of Information Technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or directly related field is required.
  • A lesser degree may be acceptable based on a minimum of three additional years of experience in similar hardware and software environment.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise-wide multi-platform solutions.
  • Knowledge of Citrix DaaS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, M365, Windows Server administration, Meraki network, hardware, , and application software interoperability.
  • Communication, organization, time management and clinical skills.

  • Prefer AZ104, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft certifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and responds to tickets from the Zendesk ticketing system.
  • Develops and implements intermediate automation scripts to help with common functions or system operations.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Tier I/II helpdesk teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain the Azure infrastructure including server performance, Entra (AAD), licensing, and conditional access policies.
  • Manage windows autopilot for automated device provisioning, while developing and maintaining standardized Windows 11 images, applications, and patches.
  • Monitors project deadlines to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately.
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor and manage VDI performance, machine catalogs, delivery groups, image-automation, and troubleshooting complex user session connectivity issues.
  • Executes and maintains on-site backups for local and cloud systems.
  • Monitor and handle routine Meraki network and Zoom IP phone administration tasks.
  • Propose and implement security best practices using Azure RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools to automate routine system administration tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall productivity across IT systems and workflows.
  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and documenting security incidents to ensure timely response, root case identification, and implementation of corrective actions to mitigate future risks.
  • Assists in developing short and long-term goals for the team that are consistent with program and organizational goals.
