About The Position

Inari is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage the day-to-day reliability, security, and user experience of their cloud-first IT environment. This role involves administering Microsoft 365 and identity & access management (IAM), supporting employees on Windows and macOS, and maintaining core networking services to ensure productivity and connectivity. The Systems Administrator will collaborate with Security and other stakeholders to enhance controls, automate tasks, and drive operational excellence. Experience with AWS and/or security tooling is considered a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on systems administration experience in a cloud-first or SaaS-centric environment.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive) and familiarity with Microsoft security and compliance concepts.
  • Practical IAM experience: SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, identity governance basics, and least-privilege access patterns.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting endpoints on both Windows and macOS in a professional environment.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi) and ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues end-to-end.
  • Comfortable operating in a small team: prioritizing work, communicating clearly, and driving tasks to completion with limited process overhead.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS administration experience and/or experience with security tooling and practices (e.g., endpoint protection, SIEM/logging, vulnerability management).
  • Scripting/automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and a mindset for scalable, repeatable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, and endpoint management policies.
  • Own IAM operations: user lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver), SSO, MFA/Conditional Access, group/role-based access, and access reviews.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 desktop support for Windows and macOS: provisioning, troubleshooting, patching, and standard application deployment.
  • Manage SaaS application onboarding/offboarding, configuration, and license administration; maintain a clear system inventory and access documentation.
  • Support and improve networking services for a cloud-first workplace (e.g., Wi‑Fi/VPN, DNS/DHCP, network segmentation) and coordinate with vendors/MSPs as needed.
  • Partner with Security to implement controls, respond to security events, and improve device and identity posture (e.g., hardening standards, logging, vulnerability remediation).
  • Automate and standardize common tasks using scripts and admin tooling (e.g., PowerShell, device management workflows) to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, user-facing knowledge articles, and operational documentation; contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes.
