Collins Aerospace, Digital Technology, is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. A DoD Secret Clearance is required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates if needed. Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is needed prior to day 1.
- Experience with Networking.
- Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization. Technologies (VM Ware, etc.).
- Experience as a Linux Systems Administration.
- Experience with Compliance frameworks (RMF, DFARS).

- Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.)
- Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral / Secret)
Responsibilities
- Work with one or more of the following technologies: Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage, Backup.
- Regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team and/or leads cross-functional initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with customers and peers.
- Assist in developing derived technical and security requirements to support 800-53 RMF standards.
- Help to create a solution matrix w/ cost & schedule based on the project requirements.
- Work to review and define technology standards.
- Assist in driving escalations to resolution.
- Participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE).
- Use advanced knowledge to facilitate resolution of new and existing complex solutions.
- Advise on the technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned.
