Systems Administrator
About The Position
The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the technology platforms that support our property management operations. This position will serve as a key resource for business applications including Yardi, Avid Exchange, Domicile, and other enterprise systems, ensuring systems are functioning efficiently, users are supported, and technology solutions align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with property management software platforms, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and increased operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience supporting business applications, preferably within property management, real estate, or financial services.
- Strong experience with Yardi Voyager required; experience with Avid Exchange is preferred.
- Experience with Domicile or similar property management application platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of property management operations, accounting workflows, and real estate systems preferred.
- Experience with system administration, reporting, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Yardi modules including Accounting, Residential, Commercial, Maintenance, and/or Client Accounting.
- Experience with Avid Exchange and managing workflows.
- Experience with Domicile and processing applications.
- Experience with software integrations and data migrations.
- Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or database concepts.
- Experience training end users and managing system adoption.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert for Yardi, Avid Exchange, Domicile, and other property management applications.
- Manage system configurations, user access, workflows, reporting, and troubleshooting across business platforms.
- Partner with Finance, Property Management, Operations, and other departments to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for application-related questions.
- Create, modify, and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external software vendors to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assist with data integrity audits, system testing, and quality assurance.
- Support integrations between Yardi, Avid Exchange, Domicile, and other third-party applications.
- Stay current on system capabilities and industry best practices.
