About The Position

This position will maintain, monitor, and support our organization's IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and systems that support daily business operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in systems administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
Experience with virtualization platform Hyper-V.
Familiarity with scripting languages PowerShell.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Experience with Cisco Duo.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server.
Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure.
Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
Familiarity Microsoft Intune.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and commitment to system reliability and security.
Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve outages to minimize downtime.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).
Manage and maintain group polices.
Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) including provisioning, scaling.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide tier 2/3 technical support and escalation for end-user issues.
Collaborate with IT and development teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours system emergencies.
Other duties as assigned.
