I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance, Top Secret preferred.

Requirements

5 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; will take add'l experience in lieu of degree
Active Secret clearance
Sec+ certification
RHEL, Linux , Windows, Solaris, Unix administration
Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting required
Configuration tools, especially Ansible
Virtualization experience, VMware preferred
System Hardening / STIG Compliance / GPOs
Virtualized environment support
Backup Solutions
ACAS Cross-Domain Solution Implementation and Management
Exceptional troubleshooting skills
Knowledge and experience with satellite communications technology architecture
US Citizenship is required.

Top Secret preferred
Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) will receive priority

Responsibilities

Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators
Responsible for administration and maintenance of Red Hat Linux servers
Install and configure Red Hat Linux / Windows / Solaris operating systems
Ensure compliance with computer security policy, Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Set up administrator and service accounts
Maintain system documentation
Tune system performance
Install system wide software and allocate mass storage space
Interact with users and evaluates vendor products
Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software
Coordinate installation and provides backup recovery
Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
Setting up administrator and service accounts
Maintaining system documentation
Tuning system performance
Applying monthly operating system/COTS updates/patches
Installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations
Monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices for the program
Ability to apply Operating System and antivirus updates and patching/updates.
