Strive PharmacyTampa, FL
$85,000 - $95,000Hybrid

About The Position

Strive Pharmacy is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their team in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the company's identity and access management, administering business applications, handling onboarding and offboarding processes, building integrations and automations, providing support, documenting processes, and collaborating with other teams. The company emphasizes a human-centered approach to personalized healthcare and is looking for individuals who share this conviction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in systems administration or IT operations, with substantial time spent administering SaaS applications and identity systems
  • Hands-on administration of an enterprise identity provider, including SSO and MFA configuration
  • Demonstrated experience implementing SAML/OIDC and SCIM provisioning across multiple applications
  • Comfortable administering and supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux
  • Practical scripting and API skills; able to read vendor API documentation and build against it
  • Experience owning onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Solid grasp of access control fundamentals and least-privilege design
  • Strong written communication — a significant portion of this role is documentation and cross-team coordination
  • Ability to work on-site in Tampa three days per week and travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • Workflow automation or iPaaS experience
  • Mobile device management across mixed-platform fleets
  • Experience in a regulated industry, or working familiarity with HIPAA
  • SaaS management or license optimization platform experience
  • Cloud platform familiarity for identity and access integration
  • Applying version control or configuration-as-code practices to application configuration
  • Relevant certifications in identity, cloud, or systems administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is equally welcome

Responsibilities

  • Administer the company's identity provider: single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, access policies, and application assignments
  • Configure and maintain SAML and OIDC integrations for business applications, including apps that require custom configuration
  • Design and operate SCIM-based provisioning and de-provisioning, using API- or workflow-driven automation where SCIM isn't available
  • Own the joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle so access follows role changes and is fully revoked at departure
  • Manage groups, role-based access, and entitlements; run periodic access reviews and remediate drift
  • Serve as administrator for a broad portfolio of cloud-based business applications spanning communications, collaboration, sales, service, and operations
  • Evaluate prospective applications for identity capabilities, security posture, integration fit, and licensing model
  • Manage tenant-level configuration, administrative roles, and security settings across that portfolio
  • Track licensing and utilization; consolidate overlapping tools and reclaim unused seats
  • Run the technical side of employee onboarding: accounts, access, devices, and the first-day experience
  • Execute offboarding promptly and completely, with verifiable revocation of access
  • Continuously automate these workflows so they require less manual work over time
  • Build integrations between business systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation platforms
  • Script routine administrative work, reporting, and bulk operations in a language of your choice
  • Replace repetitive ticket-driven tasks with self-service or automated alternatives
  • Work the escalation queue for application and access issues across the business
  • Support end users across macOS, Windows, and Linux
  • Partner with department administrators who manage their own tools day to day
  • Document configurations, integrations, and procedures so they're maintainable by the whole team
  • Identify weak or undocumented processes and improve them
  • Build the runbooks and knowledge base content that reduce repeat questions
  • Partner with the infrastructure and cybersecurity teams on shared initiatives
  • Work alongside other systems administrators on projects that cross application boundaries
  • Support compliance and audit efforts with access controls, logging, and evidence collection
