About The Position

We’re looking for a Windows systems administrator to help us secure SATCOM systems and deploy networking solutions throughout the SATCOM community to directly support warfighters every day. As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll maintain critical infrastructure. You’ll provide customers your insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cloud computing. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in system administration such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis, maintaining system performance, or managing user accounts and permission
  • Experience managing operating systems such as Windows or Linux, and server administration, virtualization, and performing Active Directory administration
  • Experience establishing and maintaining Microsoft group policy
  • Experience writing technical documentation such as test plans, test procedures, SOPs, or implementation guides for users
  • Experience performing Windows or Linux User management
  • Experience conducting virtual machine management with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experience with automated patch installation such as WSUS
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the DoD networks or satellite communications networks
  • Knowledge of DoD Certificate Authority or Public Key Infrastructure integration
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity RMF and security controls
  • Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior team members
  • Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
  • Possession of strong time management, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Technical certifications
