About The Position

EOA Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for: Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS). Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches. Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.•Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality. Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

Requirements

Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
IAT Level 2 Certification
Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)
Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository
Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)
Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus
Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi)
Syslog/NxLog
Nagios or other similar monitoring applications
Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
