Systems Administrator - IT
About The Position
This role involves assisting with installing, configuring, and maintaining the organization's network operating systems. The Systems Administrator will analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware, operating system, and application software. This position supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems, and recommends and schedules repairs. The role also includes performing preventative maintenance, providing end-user support for all server-based applications, and utilizing a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. The Systems Administrator will rely on experience and judgment to assist in planning and accomplishing goals, perform a variety of complicated tasks, and is expected to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Additionally, this role assists in planning, coordinating, developing, deploying, and administering server hardware and software in rollouts, migrations, and large deployments of server environments, and evaluates and assists with third-party products. The Systems Administrator will install, configure, and maintain the organization's network operating systems associated with MS Servers and related systems, and analyze/resolve problems associated with server hardware, operating system, and application software.
