About The Position

Position Objective: Responsible for endpoint security. Monitor and remediate all endpoint security threats and events. Ensure that all computers are fully patched, secured and protected against security threats. Develop and support systems that are required for effective operations of 1000+ users and Windows clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of patch management and software deployment experience using an enterprise level management software for patching and deploying software to multiple clients.
  • Minimum 3 years of endpoint security and protection experience using an enterprise level management software to manage, protect, monitor, alert and remediate security vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Minimum 3 years of Windows Operating System administration and management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Active Directory, preferably Azure AD, administration experience, including user provision, group policy and security.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using a client management application for endpoint protection and maintain patch levels in an environment of 1,000+ Windows clients.
  • Experience or expertise in disk Encryption, SSO or MFA.
  • Minimum 3 years of Windows support experience, including preparing, building and testing Window images.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Review and timely deploy new software, OS releases and revisions.
  • Manage endpoint security, including firewall, anti-virus and other applications.
  • Remediate and report on all endpoint security and protection related events.
  • Manage directory services according to user provisioning and group policy guidelines.
  • Manage email application, including provisioning, decommissioning and archiving email user accounts.
  • Responsible for network administration (wired and wireless), including installation and access control.
  • Monitor and address network related alerts.
  • Build and test Windows images for each operating environment.
  • Package, test and deploy software as required.
  • Issue compliance and other reports as necessary.
  • Ensure that the client management application maintains an accurate and up-to-date client inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing and maintaining procedures, aligned with best practices, for client management application tasks.
  • Resolve issues that arise in the client management application environment to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including providing technical support and applying patches and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with IT Support and IT Managers to improve client management application infrastructure as needed.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.
