About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) Systems Administrator I to join our team in Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. This position is on-site 5 days a week. This is for a future opportunity. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)
0+ years of information technology experience
Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Nice To Haves

Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field.
Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.
Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE

Responsibilities

Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers
Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades
Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations
Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission
Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software. Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
