About The Position

The Systems Administrator I position will be responsible for supporting all computer hardware and software, communications and network equipment, and server hardware and software systemwide. The role will act as the second level support for the IT Computer Technician while providing end user support to all team members systemwide. The incumbent will provide direct assistance to the Systems Administrator II and the IT Manager and provide additional support to the Network Security and Architecture team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience required;
  • A minimum of 3 years of PC hardware and software implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair required;
  • A minimum of 2 years of the following experiences is required: o Server hardware and software support o Network systems hardware/software (including LAN/WAN o IT communications hardware and software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments;
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Hybrid role - ability to work at the Home Office 3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1 years of the following experiences is preferred: o Automation methodologies and tools o Virtualization technology: Hyper-V o Network video recording equipment and software o Opensource technology

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup of and installation of server hardware and configuration of software and drivers;
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing server equipment and related equipment systemwide;
  • Systems administration and security; work with Systems Administrator II position in administrating various server systems and applications, both on premise, remote, or hosted by third parties;
  • Setup, install, maintain, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices systemwide;
  • Provide support for reported computer hardware and software issues-both by assisting the IT Computer Technician and independently resolving tickets submitted by team members.
  • Research and troubleshoot issues as necessary to address unique and complex problems;
  • Backup the IT Computer Technician in setup, maintenance, and addressing issues with restaurant hardware and software;
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all Team members systemwide as well as outside vendors;
  • Audit existing automation methods that have been implemented to determine how they can be used to improve workflow. Analyze current scripts, programs, and tools currently used to generate new approaches to solving day to day tasks;
  • Support all network and communication related equipment and systems companywide;
  • Maintain proper control of technology Inventory;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
