About The Position

We are looking for a new team member to provide primary technical support and computer operations for all of Nott Company's IT provided resources.

Requirements

  • 2+ years post high school education in Computer Science or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of professional IT experience in a multi-site corporate network
  • Ability to support client OS (Windows Operating Systems), application software (Office), and mobile device operating systems (iOS, Android, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and use deductive reasoning skills to choose the best solution from a few choices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities and deliver results

Nice To Haves

  • Thin client management experience preferred
  • Exposure to Microsoft Enterprise software including but not limited to Azure, Entra, InTune and Defender.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain enterprise level systems and system performance by performing monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting problems; escalating problems to vendor
  • Execute add/moves/changes on user accounts throughout enterprise level systems
  • Manage system and software problems by reviewing logs, records, and configurations
  • Plan and assist in design of new/emerging hardware, software, and infrastructure strategies by conferring with vendors; evaluating, testing, and installing enhancements
  • Maintain knowledge of Company’s systems, hardware, and software
  • Repair unplanned events that adversely affect the computing environment
  • Support users with remote access
  • Create documentation of best practices and processes
  • Provide training, reference materials and support to staff on new systems and software
  • Measure effectiveness of existing IT processes and procedures
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
