Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AIS, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or developing system software in multi-platform Linux environments
  • Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS)
  • Linux Kernel Troubleshooting & Debugging
  • Bash / Bourne Shell / Expect Scripting
  • Ansible Automation
  • Red Hat Satellite Server Administration
  • Patch Management & Repository Administration
  • LDAP & Identity Management
  • Token-Based Authentication
  • System Hardening & Security Compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
  • Experience administering large-scale Linux infrastructure in secure government or defense environments
  • Experience improving operational workflows through automation and standardization
  • Knowledge of secure infrastructure best practices and system hardening methodologies
  • Experience supporting centralized supercomputing facilities or enterprise compute clusters

Responsibilities

  • Administering and maintaining Linux systems in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments.
  • Troubleshooting operating system and kernel-level issues using source code analysis, crash, system logs, systemtap, or similar tools.
  • Managing Satellite repositories, patching, and custom kernel builds.
  • Scripting using Bash/Bourne Shell and Expect.
  • Automating system configuration, maintenance, and deployment using Ansible and Satellite Server.
  • Supporting identity management systems including LDAP and token-based authentication.
  • Supporting secure and mission-critical Linux environments.
  • Independently troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving resolution.
  • Applying analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
