About The Position

Seitel Systems is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator (Engineer) to join their growing team. This role is for local candidates only, residing near the Puget Sound. The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The company is an employee-owned (ESOP) IT partner delivering managed services, network support, cloud solutions, AI, and cybersecurity to small and medium-sized businesses. With a team of 35 employees serving over 200 clients, Seitel Systems emphasizes a people-first culture and partnership over transactions. The Engineer will work with multiple clients, providing leadership and hands-on expertise across a variety of technologies, offering significant career growth and exposure to diverse environments.

Requirements

  • A solid work ethic and self-starter attitude, wired to “take action” to solve problems for our Clients.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Actively participate in using the Three Ways philosophy to continuously improve our services.
  • Cloud computing, IT security, AI, virtualization, networking and troubleshooting for servers, infrastructure and desktops.
  • Experience with Microsoft stack including Azure, M365, InTune and Defender.
  • Experience with ConnectWise and Veeam.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive IT experience.
  • Microsoft and other certifications as consistent with your IT experience.
  • Must reside locally near the Puget Sound.
  • Reliable transportation and a driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Copilot experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member, and in some cases the only member, of a Client’s IT team, setting technology direction, identifying issues to resolve, and providing the leadership needed for Client success.
  • Provide the hands-on expertise to keep each Client’s technology environment aligned with their needs, while bringing in additional Seitel Systems resources from your Work Center team to address broader scope and timelines.
  • Collaborate with and mentor teammates on emerging technologies, lessons learned, and “right-to-left” improvements that make service delivery better.
  • Work seamlessly with our Service Desk team, which provides Tier 1, Tier 2, and sometimes Tier 3 support for all Clients.
