About The Position

As a Systems Administrator - CLM, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system to support efficient and compliant contract operations across the enterprise. You will be the system owner and power user and will oversee system configuration, user access, workflow management, and the integrity of all contract data and metadata. You will report to the Systems & Technology Business Process Leader and work remote. 100% remote role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with procurement processes and workflow automation.
  • 8+ years experience in contract administration, legal operations, procurement operations, or a comparable system administrator role
  • 2+ years experience with at least one enterprise CLM platform, such as Ironclad, Conga, Salesforce CLM, Icertis, DocuSign CLM, Agiloft, or a comparable solution.
  • Experience in connected business systems, such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, VIM, Trustpair or equivalent platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary system administrator and subject-matter expert for the CLM platform, overseeing daily configuration and maintenance.
  • Improve system workflows, clause libraries, contract templates, and approval routing to ensure agreement on current business processes.
  • Review, prioritize and implement improvement suggestions, using a gate process to ensure understanding.
  • Maintain accurate and complete contract records, including metadata, main dates, milestones, obligations, and associated documents within the CLM system.
  • Create standard and ad-hoc reports covering contract renewals, expirations, compliance status, and performance metrics for partners.
  • Monitor data integrity across the contract repository; identify and fix discrepancies, duplicate records, and incomplete data.
  • Onboard new CLM users through structured training programs and provide hands-on guidance to ensure system proficiency across departments.
  • Distribute user documentation, training materials, quick-reference guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Be the first line of support for CLM-related inquiries, troubleshooting user issues promptly and escalating to vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to automate contract workflows, approval processes, and data entry tasks within the CLM system.
  • Work with partners to design, implement, and document process improvements that reduce cycle times and operational risk.
  • Ensure contracts and CLM workflows follow company policies, legal standards, regulatory requirements, and internal approval thresholds.
  • Track contract obligations, renewal deadlines, and milestones to relevant partners to mitigate risk.
