We’re seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator with deep experience supporting AWS and Linux in production environments. In this role, you’ll patch and maintain databases, manage secure cloud configurations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal oversight. You’ll work with IAM, VPCs, CloudTrail, and configuration‑management tools, while supporting enterprise workflow applications and monitoring systems. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solution, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an enterprise application development language, such as Python, Java, or C#, to include writing simple applications or modifying existing ones.

Responsibilities

  • Patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).
  • Configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
  • Using a scripting language.
  • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background Processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.
  • Ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
