About The Position

The IT System Administrator will maintain, support, and optimize the organizations IT, software, and network systems. This position will install, configure, and maintain software and network systems. They will monitor and maintain systems running on servers to ensure optimal performance. The role involves implementing and maintaining IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management. Additionally, the administrator will assist in deploying and supporting enterprise applications and cloud services, monitor system performance, and perform routine backups to ensure data integrity. The position also requires writing and maintaining scripts or programs to automate tasks and improve system efficiency, documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, and staying updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements to IT systems.
