System Test Engineering
About The Position
M9 Solutions is seeking a System Test Engineering professional to work on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, supporting a government contract. The role supports testing and readiness of mission system software and database products, including operational-based testing, integration testing, regression testing, and validation and verification of developed solutions. An active Secret security clearance is required. The position works with development and integration teams to analyze test results and deficiencies, verify Oracle database contents, manage work in Jira, and document tested solutions and test reports. The role also tests multiple ground product releases spanning operating systems, commercial off-the-shelf products, and application software. This is a full-time employee position. Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Security+ certification.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Familiarity with agile concepts to support agile program execution.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute operational-based tests, analyze test data, and report discrepancies to support readiness for government testing and fielding.
- Plan and execute integration tests, analyze test data, and report discrepancies to ensure products are acceptable for formal and fully regression releases.
- Analyze mission system software and database deficiencies and workarounds.
- Verify Oracle database contents related to testing products.
- Use in-house-built tools to process and analyze test data.
- Perform deficiency validation and verification of mission system-developed solutions to ensure requirements are fully satisfied.
- Support prioritization, testing, and delivery scheduling with development and integration teams.
- Perform system regression tests.
- Track and manage work using Jira.
- Document tested solutions that are technically satisfactory for operational users and complete test reports.
- Test multiple ground product releases covering operating systems, commercial off-the-shelf products, and application software.
