About The Position

NVIDIA is a leader in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization. The company is seeking a Test Engineer to manage Datacenter product testers. This role is within the Test Solution Group, responsible for architecting and developing manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter system products. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external hardware and software teams to define, develop, deploy, and maintain these solutions. Responsibilities include setting up, validating, and supporting rack-level tester platforms, overseeing test facility design with efficient cooling systems, managing facility KPIs, and planning hardware/software upgrades. The role also involves driving failure analysis, identifying root causes, performing repairs, and improving tester critical metrics like uptime and recovery time. Additionally, the engineer will develop test strategies for new product features, including the design and qualification of test fixtures and diagnostic software, and provide regular status reports and improvement recommendations to management.

Requirements

5+ years of proven experience in PCBA and System products validation.
3+ years of manufacturing testing experience at a production factory.
3+ years of experience in facility cooling design and management.
BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, chip to system.
Background in production test setup including failure analysis, problem solving and ECOs.
Experience designing, qualifying, and upgrading test fixtures/testers.
Background with system test development: hardware and software
Knowledge of server architecture, design, components, sub-assemblies and systems
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Partner with internal and external hardware and software teams to define, develop, deploy, and maintain manufacturing test solutions for Data Center products.
Setup, validate and support rack level tester platforms at contract manufacturers, internal labs, and 3rd party test sites.
Oversee test facility design and development with efficient air and liquid cooling setup.
Manage test facility KPIs.
Plan and drive tester/server hardware and software upgrades at all sites.
Drive failure analysis of tester/server and internal components.
Identify the failure root cause, perform required repair, and fix the failure Pareto.
Drive key tester critical metrics like tester uptime, recovery time, timely report and material management.
Develop test strategy for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.
Regular tester and test facility status reporting and improvement recommendations to management.
