About The Position

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for leading technologies in Qualcomm’s diverse portfolio: Artificial Intelligence, Laptops, IoT, Mobile, Automotive, Wearables, and XR/VR. Product Security Certifications are critical in building customer trust, demonstrating security capabilities, meeting regulations, and ensuring high security assurance. The individual is part of a cross functional team of expert hardware and security engineers contributing to the development and certification of Qualcomm Product Portfolio. Develops scalable test methodologies, software vectors, test benches and tools for supporting: Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), Security Evaluation Standard for IoT Platforms (SESIP), Common Criteria, Global Platform, and EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Works across multiple disciplines from system architects, hardware designers, production test engineers, security analyst, and certification engineers. Acts as a strong contributor at Security Certification and project meetings.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
