About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Systems Test Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT supporting the Sentinel Program. The selected engineer will be responsible for multiple tasks supporting requirement derivation and verification planning for the Command Systems (CS) Integration and Test Team. The engineer will be responsible for performing tasks dealing with requirement decomposition, compliance tracking, and verification planning and verification execution. This will also include synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into test solutions that acknowledges technical schedule and cost constraints, developing and directing preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for subsystem components, coordinating integrated testing activities, supporting development of the program Integrated Test Plan (ITP) for the CS segment, reviewing and evaluating test requirements to ensure completeness of test program, and performing technical analysis of complete systems and preparing comprehensive system level evaluations.

Requirements

Bachelors in STEM with 2 years of experience, or Masters with 0 years of experience.
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
1+ years of experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
1+ years of experience working within a multi-team environment
1+ years of experience tracking hardware delivery dates
1+ years of experience tracking return to green plans on material slips
1+ years of experience with a Test environment

Nice To Haves

Experience leading hardware procurement/supply chain operations
Experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations (functional decomposition)
Experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDraw
Experience with one or more of the following: flight test, ground test, military aerospace development (e.g. Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2, B-21 delivery systems)
Experience with Agile Project Management
Experience with tableau and data analytics
Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity
Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics
Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
Experience with maintaining hardware configuration for facilities buildup
