About The Position

Summit Technologies is looking for a Mission Planning System Support Representative (SSR) to support USAF mission planning activities at South Dakota AFB. The SSR is responsible for insuring the base/unit computers and associated equipment, software, and map data are updated and functioning appropriately. The SSR will support activities such as daily exercises, training missions, deployments, and real-world contingencies.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of relevant IT work experience.
• Security + certification within 6 months from date of hire to reach a minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain an IT environment inside of the Mission Planning organization.
• Troubleshoot problems (software, hardware, systems).
• Manage communications, documentation, and testing until a resolution is determined.
• Optimize mission planning data.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and varying management levels within the supported unit.
