About The Position
This is a consultant role for a System Software Programmer. The selected contractor will be responsible for various aspects of software development, including frontend and backend technologies, DevOps, API development, and database management. Please note that Lumen and/or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar modern component-based framework)
- Backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar server-side technologies)
- DevOps fundamentals
- API Development (RESTful services, GraphQL, and versioning)
- Database expertise (SQL and NoSQL)
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 4+ years of experience in full stack development and UI engineering
- 4+ years of proven experience in leading teams or projects
