System Software Engineer, UEFI Firmware

You will be heavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our world-class products, and will follow the project all the way through the development process to deployment in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices that are used throughout the world.

Requirements

BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in low-level operating system functionality, specifically in areas of ARM technologies and programming is invaluable
Superb C programming and debugging skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers
Experience working with AI development tools

Nice To Haves

Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, Linux kernel are preferred

Responsibilities

Features/code development for UEFI firmware
Document code flow, data flow, and architecture for UEFI Firmware
Debug and root cause UEFI Firmware issues thru creative thinking
Support simulation and FPGA environment bringup for UEFI Firmware
Drive and resolve issues independently across teams and disciplines
Plan and execute pre and post silicon verification of UEFI firmware
Multiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globe
