About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a System Security Engineer for Various Locations (Hybrid). This role involves installing, updating, maintaining, monitoring, and testing systems and applications, providing technical support, and recommending security improvements. The engineer will leverage a wide range of security technologies and understand encryption, web traffic, and packet analysis. They will also develop and maintain standard operating guidelines, review work processes for security improvements, and act as a subject matter expert for privileged identity management services. Collaboration with other IT teams and vendors may be required, as well as evaluating and recommending new hardware and software. Participation in projects and on-call support is also part of the role. Stefanini is a global provider of outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application, and strategic staffing services.

Requirements

  • Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing an Enterprise Vault system.
  • Associate's degree in information technology or a closely related field from a technical/vocational school, an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
  • Intermediate understanding of Privileged Access Management and an Enterprise credential vault application required.
  • Performs most work independently with general supervision and direction.
  • May consult with management or more senior staff in decision making.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience preferred with an enterprise level vault system support team.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, updates, maintains, monitors, and tests the operation of systems and applications, including server back-up support, vulnerability management, change/problem management, and asset management.
  • Provides technical support (2nd or 3rd level) by troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting incidents related to end-users, systems, applications, and/or hardware.
  • Provides recommendations to customers regarding the direction of systems and applications to help secure access, data, and assets.
  • Provides accurate and timely response to customer requests for services and support.
  • Leverages a wide range of security technologies including Logical access controls, Identity and access management, Directories (AD, LDAP, etc.), Security Incident Response, Privileged Access Management, Database and System Monitoring, End-user Password Management, and Single-Sign on Systems.
  • Understands and troubleshoots encryption (SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet analysis.
  • Develops, maintains, and implements standard operating guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviews work processes to identify, design, and implement efficiency and information security improvements.
  • Assumes subject matter expert role for privileged identity management services and technologies.
  • May partner with other IT teams and/or vendors to resolve incidents.
  • Evaluates, recommends, and/or implements new hardware and software products to business areas/customers to improve efficiency, reliability, or to provide new services.
  • Reviews and/or creates application system documentation (e.g., processes, procedures, system flow diagrams) for supported products.
  • Participates in District and/or System projects and/or workgroups.
  • Provides on-call support on a rotating basis, which might necessitate additional work outside of normal business hours.
