As a System Reliability & Support Specialist within PNC's Lending Payments SRC Team organization, you will be based in an office located in an of the following cities: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX, Denver, CO, & Phoenix, AZ. This is an in office position. Application support and production operations for enterprise payment or financial systems preferred. The SRC (Site Reliability Center) is a 24/7 operation which may include resolving critical systems issues during off hours. The Lending Payments SRC Team is responsible for supporting and improving critical payment-processing services and associated security controls. Team members partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and operational stakeholders to maintain platform stability, remediate risks, manage privileged-account compliance, investigate incidents, and drive service improvements. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, operational discipline, and the ability to work across multiple technology domains in a highly regulated financial-services environment. This team also supports governance activities related to privileged access management, account discovery, compliance remediation, and secure operational practices. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
  • Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades.
  • Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Participation in root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
  • Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications.
  • Performs application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.
