System Reliability & Support Specialist - Production Support

As a Systems Reliability and Support Specialist within PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center, you will be based in within one of PNC's IT Hubs: Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Denver, Colorado, Birmingham, Alabama; Dallas, Texas or Phoenix, Arizona. Monitor, maintain and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards. Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades. Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Participation in root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention. Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Develops in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications. Performs application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards. Requirements
- Production Support
- Operating systems upgrade for Linux and Windows servers
- Dynatrace / Logscale
- SQL server installation and queries
- ETL - would require ability to code if necessary, triage and detect errors/troubleshooting
- University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
