About The Position

Under limited supervision, develops, modifies, installs, tests, and maintains operating systems software. Responds to issues related to environment, hardware, system, and/or software, executes disaster recovery procedures across technology areas. This position will fulfill critical development and development-lead responsibilities for Enterprise Foundation Services. The primary duty of this role is to develop, test and maintain existing and new solutions supporting customer and address enterprise foundation services. This includes interfacing with Architects, Product Owners, and Product Managers. This role will also be responsible for leading, coordinating, and working together with vendor team members. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating solution designs and leading the team to implement those solutions.

Requirements

  • Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) as a natural part of your daily workflow — to make sense of unfamiliar code, draft documentation, and move implementation forward more efficiently
  • Help ensure AI-assisted outputs are validated against enterprise needs including security, compliance, and performance
  • Java/J2EE, Spring Boot framework
  • Messaging technologies (example - JMS, Kafka, Active MQ, Pulsar)
  • Enterprise scale event driven architecture
  • API/Web Services: Restful, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML
  • Microservices, Cloud Native Design, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Relational Database (example – Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • NoSQL Database (example – MongoDB, Astra DB, Cassendra DB). DataStax preferred.
  • API First Development, Test Driven Development
  • CI/CD integration using industry standard components and pipeline tools
  • SAFe Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business staff throughout the organization.
  • Ability to express complex technical information in a user-friendly language and style; present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings including executive management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, and/or equivalent formal,
  • Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
