Raytheon’s Strike Initiatives organization is seeking a Systems Performance Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to provide unified leadership across the Factory Software (FSW), Software (SW), and Test Equipment (TE) teams for the StormBreaker production and integration program. This role emphasizes cross-discipline coordination, Earned Value (EV) leadership and the alignment of software and test activities required to transition updated weapon configurations successfully into production. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, proven Earned Value (EV)/Control Account Manager (CAM) execution and experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams. Program domain knowledge can be developed over time; however, the ability to lead, integrate and execute effectively from day one is essential. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical integration efforts, enhance execution performance across multiple software-focused teams and ensure successful delivery of advanced capabilities to the warfighter.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following technical areas: software development/qualification, integrated flight simulation, GNC/signal processing algorithms, or systems engineering architecture.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Experience leading EV/CAM activities with strong cost and schedule discipline.
  • Experience transitioning software or test systems into production environments.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coordination and strategic alignment across the Factory Software (FSW), Software (SW) and Test Equipment (TE) teams, ensuring the groups operate as a unified IPT with shared priorities, synchronized schedules and strong communication flows.
  • Drive tight integration between Factory Software and Test Equipment development teams, recognizing and managing the interdependencies critical to software builds, test system readiness and qualification.
  • Lead development, integration and qualification efforts for factory software and test equipment while ensuring readiness for production transition.
  • Demonstrate strong CAM and Earned Value leadership across the IPT, ensuring cost and schedule performance is proactively managed, risks are clearly articulated, and program leadership has clear visibility into variances and mitigation actions.
  • Facilitate customer and stakeholder working groups, ensuring aligned execution plans, well-understood risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and execution materials for program-level meetings and reviews, including I&V Working Groups, PMRs, audits, and other program forums.
  • Partners with FSW, SW and TE area leads to ensure cross-team harmony, remove barriers, resolve scope gaps, and secure necessary resources.
  • Support verification, simulation, performance analysis, and software qualification activities across the program.
  • Guide and mentor early-career engineers and enable knowledge sharing across IPT and CPT boundaries.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all software and test system development and integration activities.
