About The Position

Under general direction, the System & Network Administrator provides comprehensive broad technical support across systems, networks, security, and applications. This role manages the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, Security, Network, and IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. System & Network Administrators act as versatile advanced problem-solvers who can handle diverse technologies and support organizational needs end to end. Supports a wide range of IT systems and user needs in a casino environment. Provides 'jack-of-all-trades' support across hardware, software, networking, security, and vendor systems.

Requirements

  • 4 years’ IT support or infrastructure experience required.
  • Casino or gaming industry experience required.
  • Familiarity with servers, networks, and compliance in gaming environments.
  • Demonstrates a strong blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills to support complex IT environments and deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
  • Ability to independently research and implement effective technical solutions
  • Proficient in writing clear, detailed technical documentation and specifications
  • Experienced with LAN and WAN technologies, including network performance troubleshooting
  • Develops and maintains disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft operating systems
  • Skilled in supporting both new and legacy hardware/software across platforms
  • Recommendation and implementation of system upgrades, patches, applications, and equipment
  • Provides clear, user-focused technical support and guidance
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies, including: Storage Area Networks (SAN), Virtual Machine (VM) storage, Backup and recovery systems, Electronic document storage
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Dependable, with a proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Performs well under pressure and meets critical deadlines
  • Flexible and available to work extended hours when necessary
  • Effective working independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Ability to prioritize and respond effectively in fast-paced operational environments where multiple critical systems may require simultaneous attention.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows & Linux servers.
  • Perform patching, updates, and system monitoring.
  • Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, and Group Policies.
  • Support virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Setup & support in backup and disaster recovery operations.
  • Configure and maintain switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex cases.
  • Enforce security policies, support phishing simulations, and manage patch deployments.
  • Support VPN and remote access solutions.
  • Deploy and administer Microsoft 365 and cloud-based apps.
  • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Support specialized vendor and business applications (POS, property management, kiosks, ATMs).
  • Assist with web applications (IIS, certificates).
  • Build, configure, and deploy user PCs/laptops with required software.
  • Maintain printers, peripherals, kiosks, ATMs, audit machines, and surveillance systems.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide Tier 1–4 support to end users.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and support guides.
  • Work with vendors for system support, procurement, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and technology rollouts.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.
