About The Position

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated System/Network Administrator to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of its IT infrastructure. The role helps ensure the seamless performance of enterprise systems and networks, provides technical support to users, and resolves issues that affect business operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to maintaining secure, high-performing technology environments. The position supports mission-critical systems and contributes to the organization’s success.

The position is located in Laurel, Maryland, and is full-time, day shift, with no telework. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph. No demonstrated experience is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; five years of SA experience may substitute for the degree. Starting salary is $75,000 to $90,000 per year, based on minimum education and years of experience, with increases based on education and/or experience.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five years of SA experience as a substitute.
• No demonstrated experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage the daily activities of IT system configuration and operation.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
