Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Computer and database application skills
  • Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
  • bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing

Responsibilities

  • Schedule & conduct preventive maintenance, be alert for issues or conditions that may cause system difficulties
  • Generate, complete work order, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed
  • Utilize menu driven software, troubleshoot system issues
  • Interface with the Vertique support team as required
  • Record & communicate system events that affect production, regularly
  • Monitor the palletizers to ensure a continuous operation
  • Monitor the case conveyor going into the palletizers to incorrect or product out of specs before it enters the palletizer
  • Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need to be addressed
  • Respond to sequence check alarms, or any other system stoppage, and ensure that sequencing is accurately maintained as product flows through the conveyor system
  • Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times while adhering to company policies & procedures
