About The Position

We are seeking a System Level Test Engineer to join our team responsible for creating diagnostic test programs for millions of chips. This role involves integrating software, firmware, and settings, collaborating with various teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of these programs. The successful candidate will create and verify diagnostic programs for NVIDIA's state-of-the-art GPU products, specifically focusing on Data Center products. This includes building, validating, and supporting manufacturing test programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as ASIC, ATE, systems/silicon validation, software, VBIOS, product engineering, and production teams to address test program issues. The role also involves initiating and driving process improvements through existing automation frameworks and developing new tools.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly narrow down and solve issues in complex stacks of hardware and software.
  • Comfort working with and a strong understanding of the Linux OS.
  • Some understanding of low-level software drivers and kernel.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Good time management and task prioritization.
  • Proactive and able to drive projects with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Python skills.
  • A desire to automate all the things!
  • Experience using AI-assisted and agentic tools to improve engineering productivity, debugging, or automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the silicon manufacturing and test process.
  • Familiarity with embedded platforms and system software.
  • Background in ASIC Debug.
  • Experience with board issues related to logic design & signal integrity.
