About The Position

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Test Engineer for their Grand Prairie, TX site. This role will serve as the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Line-of-Business, focusing on Automated Electronic Test Equipment and Test Software activities. The team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and the Test Engineer will provide technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience.
Experience Supporting Electronics Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products.
Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software.
Working with technologies such as TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI® to control signal generation and measurement tools.
Conducting Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and functional testing.
Upgrading and supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed.
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues.
Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting.
