About The Position

Nalley Consulting is seeking a System Integration Specialist to join their team at Southcom HQ, specifically within the U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2 office. This role requires ensuring interoperability between JIRA and GitLab, configuring automated workflows, and establishing authentication integrations with the sponsoring Command’s Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls in accordance with DoD identity management policies. The specialist will also be responsible for submitting the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in system integration.
• Knowledge and capability to integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other IT service management tools, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in API integrations, system interoperability, and secure authentication protocols.
• Strong scripting and automation skills to streamline data exchange between platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating ITSM platforms, developing API-based solutions, and ensuring secure identity federation.
• Experience with OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure interoperability between JIRA and GitLab by configuring automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
• Establish authentication integrations with the sponsoring Command’s Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls in accordance with DoD identity management policies.
• Submit the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report, documenting authentication measures, security compliance, and integration workflows.
• Integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other IT service management tools, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow automation.
• Develop API-based solutions and ensure secure identity federation.
