About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms. This role involves installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining operating systems and software applications. The engineer will maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration. Responsibilities include performing system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments. The position also requires preparing and updating technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the role provides Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation, problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. The engineer will offer technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations, and create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files for new deployments or system upgrades. In-depth troubleshooting of IT systems is also a key part of this role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
Foundation in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and vSphere.
Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+).
Support rack, stack, and cabling.
Willing to travel.
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Responsibilities

Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications.

Provide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systems.
