About The Position
Erias Ventures is seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers. We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support a mission critical application. Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages. This position allows for partial telework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or four additional years’ software engineering experience.
- Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years' experience.
- Linux
- AWS, MASH, and VMs
- Docker Swarm
- Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
- Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
- Ansible scripting and development
- Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
- Git
- A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
