System Float Pool Nursing Assistant, Full-Time
About The Position
Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join their team. This is a great entry-level position with on-the-job training available for applicants interested in the healthcare field but not specifically certified. It is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for a supportive workplace. The role involves floating between departments as needed to improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience. The goal is to help ensure the vision of being, “The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care”. The shift details are Full Time Days, 6:45 am - 7:15 pm, 3 shifts per week, floating between all 4 metro locations: Saint Luke's Plaza, East, North, South, & Smithville.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
- Mandt/CPI APS - Healthstream - Healthstream

Responsibilities
- Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
- Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
- Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs.
- Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
