About The Position
Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join their team. This is a great entry-level position with on-the-job training available for an applicant interested in joining the healthcare field but not specifically certified. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for a supportive workplace. The role involves improving hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
- Mandt/CPI APS - Healthstream

Responsibilities
- Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
- Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
- Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs.
- Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
