About The Position

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join their intel team. The Multi-Factor Authentication Management System (MFAMS) is looking for a System Engineer to collaborate with a team of developers in supporting enterprise web applications across multiple fabrics. MFAMS is a Cybersecurity Services web application designed to support Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) tools and services. This role involves documenting the full lifecycle of software design, development, and testing across multiple fabrics. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background with experience in troubleshooting and requirements gathering. They must be capable of documenting the tool(s) and their inner workings, including creating standard system engineering and test documentation. Attention to detail is crucial for generating and modifying numerous internal and customer-facing documents. The candidate should be able to work directly with customers to identify and resolve user-reported issues by either establishing alternative solutions or generating bug reports.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Ten (10) years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from and accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree for a total of fifteen (15) years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools and ticketing systems such as Jira, Confluence, O365, Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with agile projects and processes

Responsibilities

  • Documenting the full life cycle design, development and testing software across multiple fabrics.
  • Troubleshooting and requirements gathering.
  • Documenting the tool/s and inner workings to include creating standard system engineering and test documentation.
  • Generating and modifying numerous internal and customer facing documents to include standard system engineering documents.
  • Working directly with customers to identify and resolve user reported issues either by establishing alternative solutions or generating bug reports.
  • Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements.
  • Triage user issues.
  • Track and respond to user issues/questions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders through both technical and non-technical documentation (e.g. user guides, FAQs, user notifications, support communication).
  • Create briefings and roadmaps to present to the customer.
  • Take high level tasking and execute applicable processes to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner.
  • Provide meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios.
  • Track and report testing results.
  • Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations.
