About The Position

Pinnacle Specialty Group is a woman-owned and operated small business specializing in providing project and contract management for Professional, Technical, Engineering, IT and Support Services. As a Cognizant System Engineer/Technical Authority for assigned systems, the subcontractor will coordinate configuration management activities, assess system health and performance, and provide overall technical responsibility for plant system operability and maintenance activities. This role works in conjunction with the Configuration Management program for the assigned system(s). The engineer will prepare configuration control/design change packages for tasks; evaluate the impact of proposed changes and/or modifications to approved safety authorization bases for facilities; and perform troubleshooting and improvement activities. The engineer will apply systems and equipment expertise to resolve technical system and equipment issues in cooperation with other related disciplines.

Requirements

  • ABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years direct experience.
  • Level 3: BA/BS Degree plus 10-14 years of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 10-13 years of experience.
  • Level 4: BA/BS Degree plus 15-20 years of experience required, or an MA or MS with 14-18 years of experience.
  • Level 5: BA/BS Degree plus 20 years of experience required, or an MA or MS with 19 years of experience.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • For Electrical positions: preferred knowledge in one of the following: manufacturing process equipment, industrial electrical equipment, facility related electrical systems, electromagnetics, electrostatic discharge, and/or lightning protection.
  • For Mechanical positions: preferred knowledge in one of the following: manufacturing process equipment, industrial mechanical equipment or facility related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
