About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph to join our team. The role involves administering, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. Responsibilities include OS installation, system health and security integrity, network component configuration, and executing continuous system enhancements. You will provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, manage IT system infrastructure, and support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for various devices. The position also requires optimizing system operations, resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning, as well as analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Minimum of Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.

  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Responsible for OS installation, system health and security integrity, network component configuration, and executing continuous system enhancements.
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and will remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
